The Heart Behind My Work
I bring both wisdom and warmth into everything I do. Having walked my own journey of resilience and healing, I understand that life is filled with both loss and renewal, pain and growth. For me, counseling isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling, deeply rooted in empathy, personal experience, and a belief in the human capacity for change.
My work is shaped by a genuine desire to help others find their strength, just as I have found mine. Whether I’m guiding someone through grief, supporting individuals in the workplace, or helping neurodivergent clients navigate the world, I offer kindness, patience, and a steady presence that helps people feel safe.
Beyond counseling, I’ve dedicated much of my life to psychology and mental health advocacy. I truly believe in the power of connection; how a conversation, a shared moment, or a kind word can change someone’s path. I’m also a nurturer by nature, not just in my professional life but in the relationships that I hold close to my heart.
I am a licensed counsellor based in Malaysia, providing online mental health support in a safe, confidential, and professional space. My approach is client-centered, focusing on empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-awareness. With a background in psychology and years of experience in academia and research, I integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support mental well-being.
I work with individuals seeking support for stress management, anxiety, grief, workplace challenges, relationship issues, and neurodiversity support. Whether you’re struggling with personal difficulties or looking to grow, I’m here to help you explore your emotions, develop coping strategies, and move toward a healthier mindset.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me:
- Spending time with my daughter and having a cup of MILO with my loved ones.
- Engaging in personal growth, whether it’s reading, reflecting, or working on self-care, I am focused on nurturing my well-being.
- Enjoying nature, perhaps taking a walk in the park or spending time outdoors for some peace and clarity.
- Supporting causes I care about; I volunteer or work on my own projects to make an impact.
- Enjoying quality time with close friends or perhaps hosting small get-togethers.
- Taking time to write, meditate, or reflect on my thoughts and experiences on social media.
- Enjoying quiet moments, I take time to relax, whether it’s through watching a favorite show or simply enjoying solitude.
How I recharge and stay grounded:
- Reflecting on what I’m grateful for can bring perspective and improve emotional balance.
- Taking time for myself, whether it’s a long bath, reading a book, or simply resting, is vital for mental and physical renewal.
- Whether through meditation or simply being present, taking time to center myself helps reduce stress and promote clarity.
