I was struggling with depression for a while and would find myself bursting in tears while driving back from work or at home. I knew I had to get help but wasn’t comfortable walking to a centre. Then I came across Mind Your Thoughts on Facebook – the fees were reasonable and best of all I could do it via a call. I decided to give it a try. In our first trial call, I felt really comfortable with Sobana – she listened well and was very empathetic towards my situation. Thus, began my journey with Mind Your Thoughts. For a few months, we talked almost every week, sometimes I even ended up crying over the phone. However, the few months of counselling helped me gained valuable tools to manage my emotions and build better mental resilience especially so during this pandemic.
